Needle felting:
Down By The Riverside

This needle felted piece, entitled Down By The Riverside, received a
blue ribbon at the 2006 NJ State Fair.
High Fiber Salad

The fun High Fiber Salad, also received a blue ribbon at the 2006 NJ
State Fair and was a joint project with fiber artist Tonya Wilson.
Pond View Jacket

This is my favorite piece thus far, the Pond View Jacket, and contains
my focus on nature-based themes.
Autumnal-Theme Sweater Jacket
This sweater jacket, worm by Lakeland Arts owner Donna Compton, was created
primarily using Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk and Lion Brand Wool Ease.
The Fairy Godmother Jacket and Sneakers
The Fairy Godmother Jacket was my first major free form undertaking
and was made for her Goddaughter, Alyssa Lyn Reddie, age six, who is modeling
the jacket happily. Margaret Hubert, a leader in the free form movement,
provided my main inspiration for this project, as well as regular encouragement
via emails throughout the project’s development. Alyssa Lyn now regularly
receives creations I have made for her and she also provides much inspiration
for my creativity.
And what's a jacket without shoes to match!
Bubblegum and Ladybugs
These freeform embellished sneakers won the blue ribbon at the 2005 New
Jersey State Fair. I was very excited to win this award, considering this was
the first time I had submitted anything for judging.
